Adjusting DTV Rating
Viewing of some digital TV programmes can be
limited according to the age limit you set.
1.
Display [Setup] menu.
2.
Use
W/S
to select [LOCK] and press ENTER
(

).

Use

to select [DTV Rating] and press
ENTER (

).
4.
Input the password using numerical buttons.
If you have not set your password yet, input and
press ENTER (
b
).
5.
Use
W/S
to set the limitation level and press
ENTER (
b
).
Unlock
You can view all programs.
Refer to the table below for the rating levels.

All programs are locked. To view a programme,
you must input the 4-digit password you have
created.
Setting the antenna power
If you are using indoor antenna with a signal
amplifier rated at DC 5V, 100mA, the recorder can
supply power through ANTENNA IN jack.
1.
Display [Setup] menu.
2.
Use
W/S/A/D
to select [Antenna 5V] and
press ENTER (

).
3.
Use
W/S
to select [On], and press ENTER
(

) to supply antenna power.
The [Antenna 5V] option must be set to [Off ]
when your indoor antenna is powered from
the mains. If you set the [Antenna 5V] option to
[On] for the indoor antenna which is supplied
power from the mains, it may cause serious
defect to this unit.

Note
Setting the Timeshift
You can set the Time Shift function automatically
without pressing TIME SHIFT button. The timeshift
will start after Digital TV tuner mode is started.
