Troubleshooting
Possible Cause
• A USB Flash Drive is not connected.
• The connected USB Flash Drive does not have
enough space.
• Internet connection is not established.
• Your broadband speed is not fast enough to use the
BD-Live features.
• The [BD-LIVE connection] option in the [Setup] menu
is set to [Prohibited].
• The IDs list is full.
• Cannot record or does not record successfully.
• Timer record does not record successfully.
• Stereo Audio Record and/or Playback is not present.
• The connected HDMI device does not display any
picture.

Correction
• Connect a FAT16 or FAT32 formatted USB Flash Drive to
the USB port (see page 24).
• Secure at least 1GB free space in the USB Flash Drive for
using BD-Live features
• Ensure that the unit is correctly connected to the local area
network and can access the internet (see page 22).
• Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and increase
the broadband speed is recommended.
• Set the [BD-LIVE connection] option to [Permitted].
• Delete one of the stored ID and Sign-In with the ID again.
• Check that the source you are trying to record in not copy
protected.
• The power may have failed during recording.
• Clock is not set to correct time.
• The start time of the timer recording is past.
• Two timer recordings may have overlapped, in which case
only the earlier one will record completely.
• When setting the recording channel, make sure you set
the unit’s built-in tuner, not the TV’s built-in tuner.
• TV is not Stereo-compatible.
• Broadcast program is not in stereo format.
• The A/V Output jacks on the unit are not connected to TV
A/V In jacks.
• Try disconnecting then reconnecting the HDMI cable.
• Try switching the power of the HDMI device off then back
on.
