Modem Link
Modem Link allows you to use your device as USB modem for another device, such as your notebook
computer.

Before activating Modem Link, make sure your device has a GPRS SIM card installed, and you have set
up a GPRS modem connections on your device. Also make sure you have GPRS SIM support Modem
link, and connected your device to a computer via USB.

When you activate Modem Link, ActiveSync will be disabled automatically.

To use Modem Link, you have to install the LGUSBWMLModemDriver on your computer using the
Getting Started Disc.
To Set up your device as an USB modem
1. Tap Start > Programs > Modem Link
2.
In the connection list, select how your device is connected to the computer:USB if through USB cable
connection.

GW600 is Only USB support in Modem link.
3. To use your device as a GPRS modem, select the GPRS access point
name from the
Access point name
list.

AT&T support access point name for modem link as “isp.cingular” so, default access point name set
“isp.cingular”
