Settings
Secure start-up – To protect your tablet, set a password. You need to enter PIN or
password every time you power on your tablet.
Set up SIM card lock – Set up nanoSIM card lock or change the nanoSIM card PIN.
Password typing visible – Shows the last character of the hidden password as you
type.
Tablet administrators
– View or deactivate tablet administrators.
Unknown sources
– Allows installation of apps from non-Google Play applications.
Credential protection
– Displays the backup location for credentials.
Certificate management
– Manage security certificates save in the tablet.

Trusted credentials
– Displays trusted CA certificates.

User credentials – View or edit saved credentials.

Install from storage – Tap to install certificates.

Clear credentials – Remove all certificates.
Trust agents – View or use Trusted agents installed to the tablet.
Screen pin – This feature allows you to lock your device so that the current user can
only access the pinned app. This is useful for users with children.
Usage access
– Displays usage info of applications.
Accounts & sync
Permits applications to synchronize data in the background, whether or not you are
actively working in them. Deactivating
Auto-sync data can save battery power and
lower (but not eliminate) data usage.
Language & keyboard
Use the Language & input settings to select the language for the text on your tablet
and to configure the on-screen keyboard, including words you’ve added to its dictionary.
Language
– Select the language which is to be used with this device.
Current keyboard
– Allows you to select the type of default keyboard.
Japanese keyboard
– Make keyboard settings.
Google voice typing
– You can change the settings when you use Google voice typing.
