Instructions for Text Messaging
Send a Message
1. Press the Menu key scroll to messaging option
and press
the button.
2. Select Send Message (which should already be highlighted) and
press the
button.
3. Highlight “Enter Addr” to select an existing address or select options
to select an address that you want to send the text message to and
select .
4. Enter the 10-digit cell phone number or the email address of the
person to whom you are sending the message. Press
once you
have entered the number or email address. Then press the top left key
to select
.
5. Scroll to the option “Enter MSG” to enter text and press
and then
begin to type your message. When you are finished typing, hit the
button and Send will be highlighted and press the
button
to send.
6. To change text mode (T9, Alphabet, etc.) press the
key after you
have entered the phone number or email address and pressed
“Select”, scroll through the options and press to select the option
desired. When finished typing your message, press
to send
and
to select another option.
Retrieve
1. Press the Menu key, scroll to messaging option
and
press the
button
2. Scroll down to option number 3 which is “Inbox” and select “Okay”
to view the message.
3. To respond select the
button and scroll to option number 3
which is “Reply” and select “Okay”. Type your message and select
“Okay” to send your message.
