AV Mode
LG LCD TVs have 3 special preset AV Modes which provide the best suitable image quality and
sound for specific types of content. They are easily accessible using the AV MODE hot key on
the remote control.
Cinema Mode
Cinema Mode allows you to enjoy a film as the Director intended, preserving the original
colour expression and atmosphere. Cinema Mode balances the image attributes around
industry standards such as D65 (white balance) and ITU-BT7091 (colour), as some image
quality processing functions can alter how the original film is displayed.
Wide Colour Control
Sports Mode
Sports Mode makes watching sport feel more exciting by emphasizing the vivid primary colours (e.g.
greener grass, bluer sky, etc) and optimizing the TV to display fast moving images with no judder or
motion blur.
Game Mode
Game Mode optimises the TV for computer games, for a more dynamic gaming experience. By
constantly calculating image quality rate, game mode increases dark expression and provides a
clearer image. This is essential due to the games-player’s typically high concentration and short-
watching distance. Sound quality is adjusted simultaneously, completing the dynamic experience.
