Das 2. EPROM (31/4) der neuen Software-
Version mit der Bezeichnung R2.x ist in Positi-
on D15 in der gleichen Richtung wie D14
einzustecken.
3.3.4 Einbau der Mikrocomputerleiter-
karte
Die Mikrocomputerleiterkarte ist in die Aus-
gangslage (Bauteile nach unten) zu drehen.
Die Mikrocomputerleiterkarte ist wieder in die
FOhrungsnuten der Abdeckhaube
(30/1)
ein-
zuschieben. Moglicherweise ist der Pertinax-
Abstandsstreifen herausgefallen und mul3 in
diesem Fall zuerst, var der Mikrocomputer-
leiterkarte in die gleichen F0hrungsschlitze
eingeschoben werden.
Bevor die Abdeckhaube wieder vollstandig auf
die geschlitzten F0hrungsbolzen aufgesetzt
wird, noch einmal alle Steckvorrichtungen auf
korrekten Sitz pr0fen.
Die Abdeckhaube ist mit etwas Kraft in Rich-
tung rechter Seitenwand in die Ursprungslage
zurOckzuschieben.
Die zwei lnnensechskantschrauben (30/2) sind
wieder einzuschrauben und mit dem
5 mm Schlussel fest anzudrehen.
Rechte Seitenwand wieder anbringen.
Zurn Test der erfolgreichen Installation der
neuen Software-Version ist der UL 100 wie
gewohnt in Betrieb zu nehmen. Es sollte zu-
nachst festgestellt werden, ob in der Statusan-
zeige die richtige Software-Version angezeigt
wird. Nach Erreichen des "STBY" -Zustands
m0ssen die Funktionen entsprechend Ab-
schnitt 2 ausfOhrbar sein.

3.4 Service
Der Statusreport gibt im Servicefall wichtige
lnformationen Ober den internen Zustand des
UL 100 PLUS. Der Statusreport ist jedoch nur
Ober die RS 232-C-Schnittstelle auslesbar.
Siehe hierzu die Schnittstellenbeschreibung
SB 10.207.
Allgemeine Hinweise
Eine Anderung der Konstruktion und der an-
gegebenen Daten behalten wir uns var. Die
Abbildungen sind unverbindlich.
Insert the second EPROM (31/4) with the new
software release designated R2.x in position D
15 with the same orientation as D14. Inspect
both sides of both chips to ensure that every
pin is properly inserted in the socket.
3.3.4 Reassembly of the Microprocessor
PCB
Bring the microprocessor pcb. back to the ini-
tial position with the components facing down-
wards.
Insert the microprocessor pcb. into the guide
grooves of the cover lid (30/1 ). Possibly the
Pertinax spacer has fallen out, and if so, it
must be inserted into the same guide grooves
before inserting the microprocessor pcb.
Before placing the cover lid on the slotted
guides it is advisable to check the seating of
all the connectors.
Push the cover lid in the direction of the side
cover using a little pressure so that the cover
is pushed back into the initial position.
Screw in two hex screws (30/2) and tighten
them with the 5 mm Allan key.
Again attach the side cover.
For testing of the new software release switch
on the UL 100 PLUS as usual. First look at
the status display to see if the right software
release is indicated. Then after reaching the
"STBY" status the new functions as describ-
ed in Section 2 must be executable.
Please return the old EPROMs to your local
LEYBOLD sales or service office.
3.4 Service
The status report provides important informa-
tion on the internal status of the UL 100 PLUS
in the case of servicing. However, the status
report can only be output via the RS 232 C
interface. For this refer to the interface de-
scription given in the Service Manual
SB 10.207.

3.3.4 Montage de la carte

Retourner la carte
a
microprocesseur pour que
le composant soit orients vers le bas.
La glisser de nouveau dans les rainures du
capot (30/1 ). Si la bande d'ecartement en
Pertinax est tombee ii faut la remettre dans les
rainures avant de glisser la carte.
Verifier la bonne fixation de taus les connec-
teurs avant de replacer le capot sur les guides
fendus.
Repousser le capot un peu fortement en direc-
tion de la paroi laterale droite jusqu'a ce qu'il
revienne en position d'origine.
Revisser les deux vis
a
6 pans creux (30/2) et
les bloquer avec la cle de 5 mm.
Remonter la paroi laterals.
Mettre UL 1 oo PLUS en service comme d'ha-
bitude pour verifier si !'installation de la version
du logiciel donne satisfaction. La nouvelle
version du logiciel doit apparartre dans
l'affichage. Lorsque l'appareil atteint le mode
"STBY", les fonctions decrites dans 2 doivent
etre executables.

3.4 Service
Le rapport d'etat donne des informations, im-
portantes pour les reparations, concernant l'etat
interne de UL 100 PLUS. Toutefois le rapport
d'etat n'est lisible que par !'interface RS 232 C.
