System Overview
Both the 2015 NX 300h and NX 200t have a new oil maintenance reminder system that will
display how many miles are left before the oil needs to be changed. The remaining oil
maintenance mileage is calculated based on fuel consumption, engine coolant temperature and
vehicle speed.
This mileage will vary from the other scheduled maintenance that takes place
every 5,000 miles (tire rotation, etc.).
The system will alert the customer via the multi-information display as follows:

When remaining oil maintenance mileage reaches 500 miles, “

Required Soon
” is displayed

When remaining oil maintenance mileage reaches to 0 miles, “
Oil Maintenance
Required Visit Your Dealer
” is displayed
The customer or technician can verify how many miles remain until the next oil change by
viewing the odometer/trip meter. To access this feature, press the ODO/ TRIP switch as
follows:
