5.0 Important Information about your Lexus Link System and
Service
The following sections include important and helpful information about your
Lexus Link subscription, limitations of some Lexus Link services and cautions
regarding your Lexus Link system hardware. Please review your Owner’s
Manual for further information.
5.1 Subscriber Information
5.1a – General Information
An active Lexus Link subscription (including a signed Lexus Link Service
Subscription Agreement) is required in order to receive Lexus Link services. For
more information, contact Lexus Link at 1-800-25-LEXUS (1-800-255-
3987). Lexus Link services require vehicle electrical system and wireless serv-
ice to be available and operating for features to function properly. Lexus Link
uses existing emergency service providers as well as wireless and satellite tech-
nologies. See your Owner’s Manual for further information.
5.1b – Customer Communications
The information in this guide pertains only to Lexus Link systems with dual-mode
(digital/analog) hardware available in model year 2006 and later. This guide
contains the latest information at the time it was printed. We reserve the right to
make changes to the products and services without prior notification. In order to
provide you with excellent service, any call to the Lexus Link Call Center may be
monitored or recorded.
5.1c – Wireless Privacy Warning
Users of wireless communications are cautioned that the privacy of any informa-
tion sent via wireless cellular communications cannot be assured. Third parties
may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions and private communications
without your consent.
5.1d – Information We Receive to Provide Services
Vehicle positioning information is normally relayed to the Lexus Link Call Center
