Maintaining your printer
Printer is plugged in but doesn’t print
Make sure:
• The printer is turned on.
• Paper is loaded correctly
.
• The USB cable is completely plugged into the printer
.
• The printer is set as the default printer. To check the printer
status:

Double-click the Lexmark Z12 printer icon on your desktop.

From the menu bar, choose Printing.

Make sure Set Default Printer is checked.
• The print job is not being held in the print queue. To check the
printer status:

From the desktop, double-click the Lexmark Z12 icon.

From the menu bar, choose Printing.

Choose Start Print Queue.
Print a test page. If the test page prints, the printer is functioning
properly. If the printer still doesn’t print, check your application.
