Welcome to the IO FW810S Tutorial. This tutorial shows you how to set
up the FW810S and Cubase
®
LE to record a single guitar track. Follow the
proceeding steps sequentially for best results. The FW810S works with many
DAW applications, however this tutorial is written for use with Cubase
®
LE – the recording application which ships with the FW810S. Start with all
cables disconnected. Enjoy.
Make Your Connections
Connect the Guitar
1. Turn the Gain 1 knob all the way down.

2. Press the Instrument button, located over the Gain 1 knob, to the in
position.

3. Connect your guitar to the Mic/Inst 1 input on the front panel.
