• Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering no more than 5000 rms symmetrical amperes, 600 Volts
maximum.
• Select conductor size in accordance with N.E.C. Table 310-16.
• When installed in a recommended Leviton enclosure, Cat. No. N36NC, the enclosure size shall be in
accordance with N.E.C. and appropriate electrical codes.
• Overcurrent protection must not exceed the ampere rating of the controller.

2. to Wire: Remove approx. 5/8" (1.6 cm) of insulation or per strip gage on device. Connect wires per
appropriate
WIRING DIAGRAm as follows (Figure 1 for 2-pole and Figure 2 for 3-pole): Insert wires into wire
ways next to appropriate terminal screws. Firmly tighten terminal screws to 25 in.-lbs. (2.82 Nm) of torque.
note: Terminal screws accept #10 to #4 AWG copper wire.
3. mount device using long mounting screws provided. Attach cover (if applicable).
4. Restore power at circuit breaker or fuse. InstallatIon Is CoMPlete.

• Conviennent aux circuits capables de livrer un courant maximal de 5 000 ampères symétriques efficaces, à
600 volts au plus.
• Le calibre des conducteurs doit être choisi conformément au tableau 2 du C.E.C., partie 1.

1. CouPer le Courant

2. Câblage : Dénuder les fils sur environ 1,6 cm (0,63 po), ou conformément au gabarit apparaissant sur le
dispositif. Raccorder les fils de sortie conformément au SCHÉmA DE CÂBLAGE approprié, en procédant
comme suit (
figure 1 pour les dispositifs bipolaires; figure 2 pour les dispositifs tripolaires) : insérer les fils
dans les goulottes guide-fils adjacentes aux bornes appropriées; serrer les bornes en appliquant un couple
de 25 po-lb (2,82 N.m.).
REmARqUE : Les bornes acceptent les fils de cuivre d’un calibre de 10 à 4 AWG.
3. Fixer le dispositif au moyen longues vis de montage fournies; installer la plaque.

Leviton warrants to the original consumer purchaser and not for the benefit of anyone
else that this product at the time of its sale by Leviton is free of defects in materials
and workmanship under normal and proper use for ten years from the purchase
date. Leviton’s only obligation is to correct such defects by repair or replacement, at
its option, if within such ten year period the product is returned prepaid, with proof

This warranty excludes and there is disclaimed liability for
labor for removal of this product or reinstallation. This warranty is void if this product
is installed improperly or in an improper environment, overloaded, misused, opened,
abused, or altered in any manner, or is not used under normal operating conditions
or not in accordance with any labels or instructions. There are no other or implied
warranties of any kind, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose,
but if any implied warranty is required by the applicable jurisdiction, the duration
of any such implied warranty, including merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose, is limited to ten years. Leviton is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or
consequential damages, including without limitation, damage to, or loss of use of, any
equipment, lost sales or profits or delay or failure to perform this warranty obligation.
The remedies provided herein are the exclusive remedies under this warranty, whether
based on contract, tort or otherwise.
