To insert the cushion in the cover, follow the instructions below:
1. Lay the cover with the nons-lip black base downward and the zip upward;
2. Insert the cushion with the air cell side upward;
3. Be sure that valves are placed outward (valves have corresponding holes in the cover);
4. Press the cushion gently into the cover. It may be necessary to shake slightly a few
times the cushion;
5. Close the zip carefully. The cushion is now ready for use.
9. MAINTENANCE
The LEVITAS devices by Moretti are checked carefully and supplied with EC mark, once
launched on the market.
For patient and physician’s safety we recommend to let check the device by the manufacturer
or by laboratory authorized every 2 years. In case of repair, use only original spare parts and
accessories.
10. HOW TO REPAIR THE CUSHION
1. Deflate the cushion.
2. Scratch the damaged part with sandpaper until it’s smooth.
3. If the cushion is accidentally punctured and the diameter of the damage area is lower
than 1 cm, use the patch provided with the cushion to prevent the damage from becoming larger.
4. If the diameter of the damaged area is more than 1 cm, stop using the cushion.
11. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

11.1 Cushion
1. Clean the cushion with water and mild soap.
2. Wipe the cushion with a damp cloth and rinse out with cold water.
3. Dry it.
WARNING!
• Use mild soap.
• Do not clean in the washing-machine.
• Do not use an autoclave to clean the cushion.
• Keep the product far from sun rays.
11.2 Cover
• Washable by hand or washing machine at 30°C.
• Air dry only.
