The cable distance between the switch and PC should not
exceed 100 meters for UTP cable.
3.
Cat.3/4/5 cable may be used in 10Mbps operation.
However, Cat.5 UTP or better data grade cable must be
employed for 100/1000Mbps operation.
4.
The appliance inlet is used as the disconnect device and
shall remain readily operable at all time.
Trouble shooting:
1.
Bad performance
Please check the transfer rate (10Mbps, 100Mbps or
100Mbps) and the duplex status (full duplex or half
duplex) of both sides. Make sure both sides are set to
identical status.
2.
Link failure :
Check the L/A LED on the switch try another port on
the switch make sure the cable is well installed make sure
the cable is the right type power off the device for a while
and power it on again.
