Attention!
The AMS 348

is deactivated on the PROFINET when parameter enable is activated via the

display. The device is reactivated on the PROFINET after parameter enable is canceled.

Note!
In the PROFINET network, configuration is performed exclusively via the

PROFINET controller.

Parameters set via the display when operating the AMS 348

on the PROFINET are over

written by the parameters set in the GSD modules. For GSD modules which are not actively

used on the PROFINET, the default settings of the AMS apply, see ""Overview of the GSD

modules on page 69. Thus, the PROFINET presets values to all parameters.

Note!
If a password was stored, parameter enable is not possible until this password is entered;

see "Password for parameter enable" below.
