Maintenance
13.1
General maintenance information
Usually, the light section sensor does not require any maintenance by the operator.
Cleaning
In the event of dust buildup, clean the LES with a soft cloth; use a cleaning agent
(commercially available glass cleaner) if necessary.
Notice!
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as thinner or acetone for cleaning the light sec-
tion sensors. Use of improper cleaning agents can damage the optical window.
13.2
Repairs, servicing
Repairs to the device must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
Contact your Leuze distributor or service organization should repairs be required.
The addresses can be found on the inside of the cover and on the back.

When sending light section sensors to Leuze electronic for repair, please provide an accurate
description of the error.
13.3
Disassembling, packing, disposing
Repacking
For later reuse, the device is to be packed so that it is protected.
Notice!
Electrical scrap is a special waste product! Observe the locally applicable regulations
regarding disposal of the product.
