4. WORKPIECE CLAMP
When cutting workpiece, the boards should always be clamped with a “G” clamp (provided).
RELEASE KNOB
When boxed or during storage, transportation, the saw head is locked in the down position.
To release the head ready for operation, press the switch lock (17) to left. Apply downward
pressure on the saw arm and pull out the release knob (2). The head will be raised gently to
upper position. The saw must never be used with the release knob locking the head down.
OPERATION
TRANSPORTATION
1. When transporting the saw with fixed locations,make sure that the saw head is locked
in the lowerposition.
2. The rotary table locking knob, the bevel lock knobmust all be securely tightened.
3. The saw is switched off and the plug is removed from the power point.
4. Only lift the saw by the operating handle (3) or outer castings. Do not lift the saw using
the guards.
For locking the saw head in the down position, Apply downward pressure on the saw arm
and push the release knob (2) to lock the saw head. The head will be locked in down
position.
MITRE TABLE LOCKS
The mitre table locks (15) are used to lock the table at the desired mitre angle.
The mitre saw cuts from 0° to 45° both left and right. To adjust the mitre angle loosen the
mitre table locks and rotate the mitre table to the desired position.
BEVEL LOCK
The bevel lock (7) is used to set the blade at the desired bevel angle. The mitre saw bevel
cuts from 0° to 45° to the left. To adjust the bevel angle loosen the bevel lock and adjust
the saw arm to the desired bevel angle.
SPINDLE LOCK BUTTON
The spindle lock button (18) prevents the blade in the saw from rotating. Depress and hold
the spindle lock button while installing, changing, or removing the blade.
The rotating lower blade guard (5) provides protection from both sides of the blade. It
retracts over the upper blade guard (4) as the saw is lowered into the workpiece.
ROTATING LOWER BLADE GUARD
1. To turn the saw on depress and hold the on/off trigger switch (16)
2. To turn the saw off release the on/off trigger switch (16).
