3 Mechanical installation
3.1 Important notes
¯ To prevent damage to electronic components, only mount/remove the device with
the voltage supply switched off.
¯ The mounting location always must correspond to the operating conditions
specified in the technical data. If required, take additional measures.
¯ When selecting the installation site, be sure to observe an ergonomic position of
the screen and pay regard to the incidence of light, which may cause reflections
on the screen.
¯ Secure the device against falling until the installation is completed.
¯ The installation has to be completed in order that the guaranteed degree of
protection will be achieved!
3.2 Mounting steps

1. Lay the device flat on a clean, stable, horizontal surface (e.g. table). If required,
protect the display from damage.
2. Pull out the USB cover , slightly fold the top and loosen the screw .
3. Fold the top service shaft cover to the front and remove it; pull the USB plug .
4. Loosen four set screws inside the service shaft housing. Do not unscrew the
screws!
