Counting functions
Description
Continuous counting The counter counts from 0 to the counting limit, then skips to the opposite counting limit
and continues to count from there.

Gate function
The gate function serves to start, stop, and interrupt a counting function. In the case of this
counter the internal gate (I-gate) is conform to the software gate (SW gate) which you
control via your user program (status word in the output area).
