3. Press the two tabs on the intrusion switch towards each other and carefully push the intrusion switch
outward at the same time to remove it from the frame.

Installing the intrusion switch
To install the intrusion switch, do the following:
1. Prepare your server and remove the server cover. See “Preparing your server in advance and removing
the server cover” on page 53.
2. If needed, remove the old intrusion switch. See “Removing the intrusion switch” on page 90.
3. Insert the tab on the intrusion switch frame into the corresponding hole in the chassis until the intrusion
switch is securely seated.

4. Connect the cable of the new intrusion switch to the system board. See “System board components”
on page 30.
