For access, remove these FRUs in order:

“1010 Base cover” on page 34
•
“1020 Battery pack” on page 36
•
“1030 PCI Express Mini Card for wireless LAN” on page 37
•
“1040 SSD Card (On select models)” on page 39

Unplug the fan connectors in the direction shown by arrows

, Peel off the
black adhesive tape. Release the cables from the cable guides in the direction
shown by arrows. Loosen the screws

assembly and heat sink assembly in the direction shown by arrows

careful not to damage the connector.

When installing:
Route the antenna cables along the cable guides. As you
route the cables, make sure that they are not subjected to any tension. Tension
could cause the cables to be damaged by the cable guides, or a wire to be
broken.
Make sure that the connectors are attached firmly.
