The Lenovo B300 comes standard with 8 licensed ports and 8x 8 Gb FC SWL SFP+ transceivers. The
remaining unlicensed ports can be activated in 8-port increments by purchasing and installing the Ports on
Demand (POD) bundles that include software licenses for eight ports and eight 8 Gb FC SWL SFP+
transceivers. By default, ports 0 through 7 are enabled on the Lenovo B300. To enable ports 8 through 15,
install a POD license key. To enable ports 16 through 23, install another POD license.

The Lenovo B300 comes with 8x 8 Gb FC SWL SFP+ transceivers, and the optional 8-port POD bundle
comes with 8x 8 Gb FC SWL SFP+ transceivers. Additional SWL, LWL, and EWL SFP+ transceivers can
be ordered for the switch, if needed. The following table lists the supported SFP+ options and optical
