Battery
initialization
After
using
a
long
time,
the
battery’s
operating
time
is
much
shorter
than
the
first
use.
The
reason
is
the
lithium
‐
ion
battery
memory
effect.
You
can
do
the
battery
initialization
to
erase
part
of
the
memory
effect.
The
battery
initialization
is
the
process
of
fully
‐
charging
the
battery,
fully
‐
discharging
and
fully
‐
charging
it
again.
Follow
the
following
steps
to
perform
the
battery
initialization:
Step
1.
Make
sure
the
computer
has
been
turned
off
,
connect
the
computer
to
an
external
power
source
to
charge
the
battery.
Step
2.
Turn
on
the
computer
when
the
battery
is
fully
‐
charged.
Press
[F2]
to
enter
the
BIOS
setup
program.
Step
3.
Unplug
the
AC
adaptor;
let
the
computer
operate
on
the
battery
power
until
it
automatically
turns
off
at
the
end
of
battery
power.
Step
4.
Plug
the
AC
adaptor
to
fully
charge
the
battery.
Step
5.
Repeat
the
above
steps
for
2
or
3
times
to
erase
part
of
the
battery
memory
effect
and
extend
the
battery
life.

:
Because
the
lithium
‐
ion
battery
has
certain
operating
life,
use
the
external
power
source
as
possible
as
you
can
to
decrease
the
using
times
of
battery
pack
and
