4.2 Mowing height
The mowing height is decreased (long top link) or increased
(short top link) according to the angle under which the cutter
bar is inclined to the fore.
- Adjust the mowing height by means of the ratchet top link
(fig. 9).
- Lock the ratchet top link by means of an elastic band.
4.3 Conditioning intensity
The intensity of conditioning can be adjusted by means of the
conditioner’s crop inlet plate.
Adjust the crop inlet plate by turning the spindle (fig. 10).
Turning to the right increases the conditioning intensity,
whereas it is reduced if the spindle is turned to the left.
The most extreme position of the crop inlet plate (opening)
can be limited by means of the special bushes and a securing
clip (fig. 10).
4.4 Ground pressure
The cutter bar’s ground pressure is determined by the pre-set
tension of the four draw springs (fig. 11).
If the cutter bar tends to float during work, without following
ground contours properly, the pre-set tension of the draw
spring needs to be decreased.
