3.2 General Safety
When developing the Lely Calm View the latest standards were implemented to make this product as safe
as possible. However, there are a few additional rules that should be observed.
•
Do not use the products in any way that might violate the integrity of others.
•
Always follow the laws and legislations that apply in your country.
• Do not leave plastic packaging material near children or animals to avoid the risk of suffocation.
• Do not open the camera enclosure as it is a non-serviceable product.
• Lely resigns all responsibility that might occur from abuse or incorrect use of the products. Always
follow the instructions in this manual.
•
Read and understand this manual and all safety signs before you install parts of the Lely Calm View.
•
Only trained persons are permitted to operate the Lely Calm View.
•
Always have the telephone number of the nearest medical centre close at hand.
•
Contact your nearest Lely service provider if you have any questions.
3.3 Statement for Class A digital device acc. to FCC 15.105
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely
to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to
correct the interference at his own expense.
3.4 Electrical Safety
•
The Lely Calm View shall only be used in combination with an external approved (for example EN
61558-2-16 or EN 62368-1) power supply which has the required insulation barrier.
•
Only an authorized electrician must install the electrical power supply for the system components.
• Only an authorized electrician may work on the electrical installation.
• Make sure the electrical grounding of the electrical system and all parts of the machine meet the local
rules and regulations.
•
Keep all cables properly protected and out off reach of animals.
•
Prevent damage by vermin.
•
Replace any damaged electrical lines, conduits, switches and components immediately.
