Troubleshoot/Error Messages
Selecting your power input
This unit gives you 9 power input settings from 300W to 2000W. This feature makes it ideal for operating the unit in
locations where there is a low wattage power supply (e.g. caravan/motorhome parks) or if you want to use the hob via a
power inverter which converts your vehicle’s 12V DC battery into a 230V AC power supply.
Please note, when selecting a lower power input, it will take longer for the induction hob to fully heat up.
Table 2 below shows you the 9 power input settings:
When the induction detects incorrect operation, the unit will display an error message in the form of an Error Code. Table
3 below outlines all the Error Codes along with an explanation to show you how to rectify the issue.
The following pots/pans are suitable for use with the induction hob.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the diameter of the pots and pans is between 12 to 26cm. Also, prior to
use, please check suitability of pan/pot to see whether it is suitable for the unit.
WARNING: We highly advise AGAINST using the following pans/pots:

Cause
Solution
E0
No cookware (i.e. pot or pan
between 12cm to 26cm in diameter)
is placed on the hob or the pot or
pan is less than 12cm in diameter.
Place a suitable pan or pot on the centre of
the hob. See recommended Pot/Pan
E1
Voltage is lower than 85V
Ensure voltage of power source is between
200 to 240V
E2
Voltage is higher than 275V
Ensure voltage of power source is between
200 to 240V
E3
Short circuit or surface sensor issue
Please contact technical support (see Tech-
nical Support)
E4
Surface temperature is over 280oC
Please check to see if the pot or pan you
have placed on the hob has a flat bottom. If
not, please use a suitable pan/pot. Allow the
hob to cool before reuse.
E5
IGBT (insulated-gate bipolar tran-
sistor) temperature over 105oC,
overheat protection
Ensure there is no blockage or obstruction
on both the air inlet and air outlet on the
unit. Also, check to see if the cooling fan is
in working order.
