Function of heat protection Welding-Pen R
• Heating element switches off automatically if there is no air flow.
• If there is not sufficient air flow, power will be electronically reduced and the
temperature keeps steady at about 600°C. If the air flow falls below a certain
value, the heating switches off automatically.
• Only use LEISTER accessories
• LEISTER air flow adjuster
• PVC air hose
• Hose clamp for air hose
• Tubular nozzle ø 5 mm
• Draw nozzles with tacking tip for:
rod ø 3 mm
rod ø 4 mm
profiled rod 90 – 5.7 mm
• Draw nozzles without tacking tip for: profiled rod 90 – 7 mm
Accessories
ATTENTION! Do not operate tool without air supply!
Measurements in case of error message
• Turn
potentiometer for temperature adjustment (2)
to position 0, or disconnect tool
from the mains for 5 seconds (automatic reset of electronic).
• Let the tool cool down.
• Check hose connection, air flow, air volume and power supply.
• Connect tool to the mains.
Contact LEISTER Service Centre if malfunction does not disappear.
