10.4 Stationary heat extractor (optional) - application

Fasten the support

extractor

to the left side panel of the

cryochamber using two screws at the provided holes

and insert the heat extractor.

•

Mount parking station

into one hole

of the quick freezing shelf

and rest

the heat extractor on it to cool down.

•

Move the heat extractor from the parking station and

lower it directly onto the surface of the specimen

until it is completly frozen.

•

After the specimen is frozen, move the heat

extractor into resting position at the parking station
