Two
triangular LEDs and one circular LED:
– For manual exposure setting: Together as a light bal-
ance for exposure compensation. The triangular LEDs
give the direction of rotation of the aperture setting ring
and shutter speed thumbwheel to adjust the exposure.

With automatic brightness control adjusted to the ambient brightness. This automatic control
is not available for Leica M lenses with viewfinder attachments, since they cover the brightness
sensor 5 which supplies the information required for their operation. In such cases the frame
and displays always maintain a constant brightness.
