If a DMX source (e.g., a lighting console) connected to DMX-IN is using RDM to gather information
from lighting fixtures, put the RDM bypass switch in the 'RDM' position so that RDM data can 'pass
through' the station.  Set this switch back to 'Normal' when RDM is done.

The RDM bypass switch is on the left side of the station.  Put the station in the access position (section
3.10) to view or change the switch position.

3.11  Removing the station from the wall

Step 1:  Put the station in the access position, partially pulled out from the wall.  Use your fingers to
pry the sides or bottom of the station, lifting up and out at about 45 degrees until loosened, then
straight out.

The access position exposes ports and switches on the sides of the station.

The USB port is for updating the station firmware (section 3.6.2) or loading a custom Idle
screen from a USB flash drive (section 3.6.1.1.

The mini USB port is used for connecting to a Windows computer running the ManageConfig
application to store and edit the configuration.

The slider switch selects RDM bypass (RDM) or not (Normal) for DMX-OUT (section 3.10).

The push-button switch resets the station.

Refer to the drawings in section 4.  Normally, these ports are not accessible; they remain hidden
behind the front panel, inside the wall.

Step 2:  Ensure that the station has been powered down.  From the access position, lift the station up
and out until it is no longer resting on the side pins.  Unplug the cable.
