2.6 Configure Timeclocks
Using timeclocks you can schedule actions to occur based on the time of day and the day of the week.
Time of day can be based on sunrise and sunset times for your location. Holidays can be taken into
account. For example, you can activate preset 1 every weekday at 8:00 AM, unless it's a holiday.
2.6.1 LightsOut
LightsOut is not needed when there are occupancy sensors. LightsOut is the period of time when
lights should be at the LightsOut preset (typically, Off) unless there is user intervention. Before the
LightsOut preset is activated, lights will flash three times to warn occupants of the upcoming change.
After a time (called 'delay'), the LightsOut preset will be activated. Once LightsOut has started, light
levels may still be changed by a user. After 15 minutes of no user activity, lights will flash three
times, delay, and then the LightsOut preset will be activated again.
The LightsOut preset is the one to be active during the LightsOut period when there is no user activity.
The LightsOut delay time is how long to wait before activating the LightsOut preset, after the 3-flash
warning. The start and stop times for LightsOut are set using timeclock events (section 2.6.2) or
triggered by inputs (section 2.7.2). LightsOut can also be started and stopped on the Site tab (section
3.7.1). Once LightsOut has been started, events or inputs to start it will be ignored until it has been
stopped. LightsOut cannot be started at the station unless it is enabled in the configuration.
