2.8 Burglar alarm

Touch the “ Burglar alarm ” application icon.
In the upper section the display shows the icon indicating the state of the sys-
tem (open door lock indicates that the system is OFF, closed door lock indicates
that the system is ON); in the central section, you can scroll through the zones
in which the system is divided and check which ones are active.

Shutting Off Individual Zones
When the burglar alarm is OFF, you can shut off (or reactivate) one or more
zones in the system to suit your requirements. You may, for example, turn off in-
door areas protected by infrared sensors, while leaving perimeters areas (front
door and windows) on; this allows you to move freely inside your home while
not giving up on safety.
To confirm the chosen customisa-
tion, touch the confirmation icon:
a page will appear requesting
your user code to confirm zone
shutting-off.
Such customisation can only be
performed when the system is off
using the relevant icons for the in-
dividual zones (not shown on the
display when the system is on).
