Installation
CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL DEVICE
LINE IN
The LINE IN jack enables playback from an external audio
source:
1. Connect the 3.5 mm audio cable to the LINE IN jack of the unit
and then to the headphones jack on an external audio device.
2. Press the POWER button on the unit or the STANDBY button
on the remote to turn on the soundbar.
3. Press the SOURCE repeatedly to select the LINE mode.
4. Operate the external device to start music playback through
the soundbar.
AUX IN
The AUX IN jacks also enable playback from an external audio
source:
1. Connect the audio RCA/RCA cable to the AUX IN jacks of the
unit and then to audio output jacks of an external audio device.
2. Press the POWER button on the unit or the STANDBY button on
the remote to turn on the soundbar.
3. Press the SOURCE repeatedly to select the AUX mode.
4. Operate the external device to start music playback through
the soundbar.
Safety Precautions
If smoke or a peculiar smell comes from the soundbar, remove
the power plug from the socket immediately.
Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.
If liquid is spilled or objects are dropped inside the soundbar,
remove the power plug from the socket immediately.
Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.
If the powercord is damaged or becomes hot, turn off the
soundbar, make sure the plug has cooled down and remove
the plug from the socket.
If the soundbar is still used in this condition, it may cause fire
or an electric shock.
In all of the cases like above: contact your dealer for inspection/
replacement.
To turn off the soundbar completely, remove the plug from
the socket.
Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the
disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable.
Don’t install in a high temperature or high humidity environment.
If the soundbar is used in these kinds of environment, it may cause
the case or other parts to become distorted or damaged resulting
in overheating or electric shock.
Don’t install near any heat sources such as radiators, hot-air
outlets, stoves or other devices that produce heat.
This may cause fire or electric shock.
Don’t overload sockets or cables beyond electrical capacity.
Don’t use extension leads as this may cause fire or electric shock.
Don’t insert the power plug into any socket other than
100-240V AC
This may cause fire or electric shock.
Don’t use a damaged power plug or worn socket
Don’t insert the wrong plug as it may cause fire or electric shock
Don’t use the soundbar in an unstable way.
Make sure the soundbar is mounted properly. Dropping or falling
may cause damage to the soundbar or might even hurt someone.
