HOW TO NULL THE ZOOM CREEP USING THE FOCUS KNOB

Using the SETUP BUTTON
i.
SHORT press the setup button. The STATUS LED turns
BLUE
ii.
PRESS and HOLD IN the FOCUS KNOB
iii.
ROTATE the FOCUS KNOB until the creeping stops
(You may need to use the lens zoom rocker to zoom back if the creeping has gone to either
zoom end)
iv.
SHORT press the setup button to bypass each other setup mode until the LED indicates leaving
setup by flashing
RED

GREEN
,
BLUE
3 times.

Manually adjust the TRIMPOT to null out residual zoom creep
Note: While watching slow movement in one direction, when it stops moving your eyes start
perceiving that the movement has falsely started in the opposite direction. Do not be deceived by this.
I recommend using the actual picture from the camera the lens is attached to, to detect any residual
zoom creep.
