AP installation und transmission range:
-
Choose a favorable location:
Vibration-free
No direct sunlight. This can interfere with radio transmission and limit the
transmission range. Source of heat can also lead to malfunctions or
defects.
In the middle of the building and about 2.5
– 3 meters high from the
ground.
Do not install the antenna perpendicular to the ground, but tilt it about 30°
to the ground.
-
Up to 3 APs (1 main AP, 2 auxiliary APs) can be installed in a group.
-
Die range for the standard AP is up to 50m indoors, 150m outdoors. The
range is dependent on interference factors.
Standard AP
: up to 50 m indoors / ca. 150m outdoors
Special AP(Option)
: up to 80 m indoors / ca. 250m outdoors
-
The actual achievable range will depend on a variety of different parameters.
The surrounding properties have different effects on the range, e.g., obstacles
in the form of walls, trees, and other electronic devices within the radio
communication routes.
Assembly
1. Fasten the antenna with the screws.
2. Search for a favorable location
3. Attach the AP with the double-sided adhesives.
3. Connect the adapter with an electrical outlet.
4. Connect the plug with the AP connection.
When attaching the APs, use the included double-sided adhesives. If the double-
sided adhesive does not suffice, attach the APs with the two screws (Refer to the
hole distance of 5.3cm from the drawing below)
