TROUBLESHOOTING

PWL III doesn't power on
Verify the battery, verify the connectors, verify the microphone
and the transmitter.
•
It makes noise when used on a boom
Verify all mountings.
•
The battery doesn't last as expected
The cap must be clean and locked on the battery holder.
Test battery charge. Verify mic specs.
Use only
high power
AA.
(over 2000mAh capacity )
Nimh
batteries loose power over time, even without use.
Recharge them just before use.
At low temperature, alkalines and rechargeable batteries
may also loose a lot of their nominal capacity.
If temperature go lower than 10°C, use lithium batteries.
•
Sound is distorded
Adjust correctly the input level on the transmitter.
PWL III
can accept levels up to 1Vrms (+2 dbU).
