Chapter 2 – Getting Started

Camera Controls

Turning Your Camera System On and Off

Before you turn on your digital camera system, make sure that you have
inserted a charged battery.

Turn the

On/Off

dial to single shot or continuous mode.

Figure 18: On/Off Dial

Briefly push the shutter release button.

The display on the AFi camera body and back turn on, and the camera
system is ready for use.

Note:

The camera system will enter sleep mode if it is not used for three

minutes. You can set the sleep mode in the camera menu.

To turn the camera off:

Turn the shutter release dial to

OFF

Selecting the Shutter Release Mode

Using the On/Off dial (Figure 18), select the desired shutter release
mode:

Single shot: takes a single shot when you push the shutter release
button

Continuous: the camera shoots continually until you release the
shutter release button
