6. Battery Maintenance& Repair
●This series of UPS only needsvery little maintenance.Thebatteries of the standardmachine
are seal type and noneed to maintain frequently. But also keepchargingto get the expected
battery life. UPS keepschargingwhen it is connectingto AC,no matter on/off.Andif also have
function of overchargingand overload protection.
●If you donot useUPS for a longtime, you shouldchargethe UPS every 4-6months.In the
area of high temperature, battery shouldbe chargingand dischargingevery two months, the
chargingtime should not be less than 12 hours.
●In normalcircumstances,service life of the battery is 3-5years,if the battery is foundto be
in poor condition,it must bereplaced in advance. When replacingthe battery, it mustbe done
by a professional.
●When replacingthe battery, followthe principleof quantityandmodelconsistent.
●The battery shouldnot be replacedindividually andwhen it replaced asa whole shouldbe
accordingto the battery suppliersinstructions.
●In normalcircumstances(underthe conditionof UPS with little backuppower), the battery
should be charged and dischargedevery 4-6months. Keep dischargingbefore UPS shut down
then keep charging.The standard machine chargingtime should not be less than 12 hours.
