OPERATION
Do not allow familiarity with this type of product to make you careless. Remember that a careless
fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury.

A higher cut height should generally be selected for the first cut of the season. When cutting longer
grass, cut the grass in 2 or more passes by lowering the cutting height gradually at each pass.
These techniques will help to a avoid over-stressing your grass.
Your mower may be fitted with a grass full indicator.This is a small red flap on the top side of the grass
collector.
When this flap remain open as you work,it means that the grass collector is not full (air flowing freely
through the grass collector).
When this flap remain closed it means that the grass collector is full and needs to be emptied(no
airflow through the grass collector)
SETTING CUTTING HEIGHT (See Fig. 13)
When shipped, the wheels on the mower are set to a low-cutting position. Bofore using the mower
forthe first time, adjust the cutting position to the height best suited for your lawn. The average
lawn should be between 20mm to 70mm.
To set the cutting height:

To raise the cutting height, grasp the height adjustment lever and move it toward the back of the
mower.

To lower the cutting height, grasp the height adjustment lever and move it toward the front of the
mower.
