If the voltage is nominal, the following lights will be lit on the front panel (fig. 9):
Red “Power on” light.
This shows that voltage is supplied to the machine.
Flashing orange “Temperature control” light.
This indicates the intervention of the electronic thermostat. It flashes when the
water in the tank is not hot enough to make coffee: it remains steadily lit when
the water is at the correct temperature. Alternating phases of flashing and
steady light may be irregular as the machine electronics perform dynamically on
the temperature control.
Flashing green “Water level” light.
This indicates that there is water in the tank. It is normally lit but flashes if the
level of water in the tank is too low.
Red line: normally lit.
If this flashes it indicates machine failure.
WARNING
Always connect the power cables to the machine before switching on.
To remove them, move the switch to the “0” position, then separate
the cables from the machine.
