About This Manual 

This manual describes the options,  
characteristics, and operation of the Laser  
Technology, Inc. UltraLyte and UltraLyte LR  
laser speed and ranging instruments. 

The UltraLyte has a large number of options and  
is highly configurable. This manual describes all  
the possible options. Your particular UltraLyte  
instrument may not have all the options  
described. 

The UltraLyte LR (“long range”) functions  
identically to a standard UltraLyte, but provides  
longer ranging capability to non-cooperative  
targets.
