23. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
WARNING: Before any maintenance and / or
cleaning operation, the appliance must be turned off,
cold and the power socket unplugged. Never use
abrasive substances.
ALL MAINTENANCE IS MANDATORY. FAILURE TO
CLEAN AFFECT THE FUNCTIONALITY AND SAFETY OF
YOUR APPLIANCE AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
DAILY CLEANING
ATTENTION: the following operations must be
strictly carried out every day, BEFORE EVERY RE-
IGNITION (whether it is done manually, with a
chronothermostat, via the STAND-BY function or
remotely via the app).
Depending
on
the
type
of
installation,
the
characteristics of the flue and the quality of the pellets
used, after 8 hours of operation, additional cleaning of
the appliance may be required to restore ideal operating
conditions..
1) CLEANING THE BRAZIER
: remove the brazier by lifting
it from its seat; then clean it from ash and any encrustations that
may form, paying particular attention to freeing all the clogged
holes with the use of a pointed tool. The ash must be disposed of
in a metal container with a tight lid. Reposition the empty and
perfectly clean brazier in its seat and correct position as indicated
in the BRAZIER POSITIONING chapter.
2) COMBUSTION CHAMBER CLEANING
: with the use
of a vacuum cleaner prepared and suitable for the purpose,
eliminate all the pellet and ash particles accumulated inside the
combustion chamber and on the glass.
WARNING: any ash spill outside the combustion
chamber must be strictly removed and aspirated because the
dust can circulate and create dust in the environment.
3) GLASS CLEANING
: to clean the glass, use a lint-free cloth
together with our CLEAN GLASS cleaner or a specific cleaner for
stoves and fireplaces.
WARNING: do not spray the cleaning product directly on
the glass but only on the cloth used. The cleaning chemicals
used must not stagnate on the screen-printed part of the
glass. WE DECLINE ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE TO
THE SCREEN PRINTED PART.
WARNING: The panoramic glass must be cleaned only
and exclusively when the appliance is cold to avoid its
explosion.
For HYDRO EQUIPMENT ONLY, you also have to clean
the turbolift on average 2/3 times a week:
With a horizontal movement,
move the 2 turbolift levers to
clean the tube bundle.
The two central baffles must
however be cleaned manually using
a brush. With this simple gesture,
the efficiency of your pellet heat
exchanger will remain optimal.
