THM Multi Stage Series
Read instructions carefully before attempting to install or operate the mast.
Failure to comply with instructions and guidelines could result in serious or
fatal injury, as well as void any warranty. Retain these instructions for future
reference.
1.
Place the trailer hitch mount into your
vehicles trailer hitch.
2.
Insert the locking pin to secure
mount.
3.
Ensure jacks are rotated downwards
towards the ground. Rotate each jack
handle clockwise to extend until there
is pressure applied.
4.
Make sure the two hand screws used
to secure the mast are loosened as to
not interfere with inserting the light
mast.
5.
With help, insert the light mast into
the trailer hitch mount winch side
away from the vehicle. The base will
slide all the way through mount and
rest on the ground surface.
6.
Tighten the two hand screws to
secure the mast to the mount.
7.
Check to ensure the light mast is
level. Adjust outriggers as necessary.
8.
(If applicable) Attach equipment to
mast head. Use appropriate
measures for securing attached
devices. Drill thru-holes as necessary.
Do not exceed weight capacity
listed on nameplate!
9.
Install mast head.

MAST HEAD INSTALLATION:

4.
Use the hand winch for extending the
mast. Turn this clockwise until it
stops. You should hear a clicking
noise from the hand winch indicating
the proper direction.
Do not force the
winch any further passed its
stopping point!

To lower the mast, rotate the upper
winch counter-clockwise. The winch
will not click at this point and you
should visually see the mast lowering.
Stop once there is no more tension
on the cable.
Do not allow excessive
slack on winch cable.
WARNING: Power cables can become pinched or tangled around light mast
while lowering or rotating. Take caution in keeping cables clear.
WARNING: Ensure mounted equipment does not exceed weight capacity
listed on nameplate!
Do not operate vehicle with the light mast installed and deployed!
Ensure the light mast has been lowered and removed before operating.
Check that outriggers have been fully retracted.
