Check for correct voltage at terminal strip. If voltage reading is still incorrect, replace defective
collector.

QUADPOD OPERATION
The light fixture mounts onto a portable quadpod tower. This tower is adjustable from 7’ to 12’.
The tower should be assembled on the ground and the light head should be mounted before standing
the tower up. On the back of the light head is a T-handle to tighten the light head onto the mast, which
secures the LED light to the tower. At the top of the tower is a T-handle that adjusts the height of the
tower. In the center of the tower is a third T-handle that locks the quadpod legs in the transport
position. Ensure all T-handles are tightened before standing the tower upright.
Once the tower is standing, loosen the T-handle in the center of the tower to lower the quadpod’s legs.
These legs are used to level the tower and provide stability during deployment. Once positioned, lock
the T-handle in place. The T-handle at the top of the tower allows vertical height adjustment of the
tower. Loosen this T-handle to raise or lower the tower, then re-tighten it to lock the tower in place at
the specific height. Do not loosen the T-handle on the light head assembly except when removing the
light.
Wire management is provided via a spring driven, ratcheting cord reel equipped with 12/2 cable. At the
end of the cord reel is a Deutsch waterproof quick disconnect, allowing operators to disconnect power
from the light for storage/transportation purposes. On the cord reel is an on/off switch for switching the
light off without disconnecting power to the unit.
MOUNTING CORD REEL

Unpack and inspect reel for damage. Turn by hand to check for smooth operation. Check for
completeness.
2.
Configure reel for top, side or bottom-wind (bottom-wind for constant tension reels only)
electrical cord dispensing by removing screws, securing guide arm bracket. Determine new
guide arm location and remove corresponding screws. Position guide arm bracket to reel and
replace screws.
3.
Position reel on floor, wall, or ceiling. Secure into place, using four (customer supplied) screws
or bolts.
4.
Connect power to reel.

Ensure that the power supply voltage does not exceed maximum voltage rating of
reel. Observe applicable NEC. OSHA, and local electrical codes.
