TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
WARNING:
UNPLUG THE POWER CORD BEFORE TROUBLESHOOTING THE FILTER PUMP.
A Pump not plugged in

RESET button to start the Pump.

G Chemicals are essential to keep the pool water clean. Clean the pool and filter more often.
F Have your pool water sample tested by a pool supplies store. You may need to
add other chemicals since water quality varies in different localities.

B1. The Canister Gasket

must sit in the groove (inner groove for SFX600/SFX1000) on
the bottom of the Canister before installing the pump.
B2. Check Pump alignment. The arrow of the Pump indent (marked "ALIGN")
MUST
point
to the Canister indent (only visible from bottom).
B3. Make sure the Motor Seal Nut

is not cross-threaded.
A Check that the Hose Clamps

are properly tightened over both the Hose and the Hose
Connection O-Rings

; adjust and retighten if necessary. Also, check the Hose for cracks
or holes and replace as needed.
C Make sure the Skimmer Gasket Rubber Seal
