3.1. Setting operating mode of ML630Q791 SDK Board
3.1.1. Firmware update jumper
The BRMP pin is set by the Firmware update switch. Setting the BRMP pin to “H”,the hardware remap
function becomes available.

Setting Explanation
cap not placed Set BRMP pin to “H”. Supply voltage is 1.8V.
cap placed Set BRMP pin to “L”.

HOST IF setting jumper
When you use the other host, remove HOST IF jumper from pins to avoid the conflict with the signal which
FT232H outputs.
Table 3-2 the HOST IF jumper
Setting Explanation
cap placed The level shifter is enabled. The PC connected to the USB connector is
the host.
cap not placed The level shifter is disabled. Connect the other host to the HOST IF
connector.
