Instruction For Use
Lansinoh® ComfortFit® Flanges
were designed for use with
Lansinoh breast pumps. For best results, use these flanges only
with Lansinoh breast pumps.
Cleaning Instructions
Unless otherwise instructed by your healthcare provider, follow
these sanitizing and cleaning instructions:
Before First Use and Daily Sanitization
1.
Prior to using the set for the first time, boil for 5 minutes. Ensure
you use enough water to keep flanges afloat while boiling.
2.
After boiling remove from the pot with tongs and place on
a clean towel or paper towel to dry. Covering the flanges
with a second towel.
3.
Allow the flanges to dry completely before assembly and use.
After Each Use
1.
Rinse the flanges with cold water immediately after
each use. Place the flanges in a clean wash basin used
only for washing infant feeding equipments. Do not place
directly in the sink, because germs in sinks or drains could
contaminate the flanges.
2.
Wash the flanges using warm soapy water.
3.
Rinse with running clean, warm water or by submerging in
fresh water in a separate basin that is used only for cleaning
infant feeding equipments.
4.
Place the flanges on a clean towel or paper towel to dry in
an area protected from dirt and dust.
Do not
use a dish towel
or paper towel to rub or pat the flanges dry.
5.
Once the flanges are dry they can be stored in a clean plastic
bin with a lid or in a clean plastic zipper bag.
6.
Do not
use disinfectants for cleaning flanges.
Before Each Use
1.
Always wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before
handling the flanges, breastmilk expression set, the pump
body, or other attachments.
2.
Visually inspect the individual components for cracks, chips,
tears, discoloration or deterioration, as this may affect the
functionality of the breastmilk expression set. Please call

A proper fit is essential for a mom’s comfort and maximum milk
flow. An improperly fitting flange can cause discomfort and
impact milk let-down and flow.
