To reduce  the risk of personal injury, electric  shock,  or damage to the  system,  please remove all power 
connections to shut down the device completely. Also, please wear ESD protection gloves when conducting 
the steps in this chapter. 

 

Opening the Chassis 

1.

 

Loosen  the  2  thumb  screws  from 
the rear panel . 

 

2.

 

Gently  pull  the  cover  backward  a 
bit, and lift the cover up to remove 
it. 

 

 

3.

 

Loosen the screws indicated in the 
picture and remove the cover that 
encloses the CPUs and the fans.
