Polling RX
Polling RX starts from your end, the transmission of a document that has been put in the ready
state at the other party’s end, to receive that document at your end.The other party must be ready
for polling transmission before you can receive a document by Polling RX. To receive (poll) the
document, you need to enter the correct polling password number. You can poll up to 143
destinations by a single operation.
Using Polling RX

Check that there are no documents in the Document Feeding Tray.

Press the "Function" key.

Press ‘6’ to select the POLLING RX.
A message appears briefly to confirm your selection.

Enter the remote fax number.
For example: Use the Keypad to input the fax number “0123456’
•
If the remote fax machine has the polling ID, press the “Down Arrow” key.

Use the numeric key to input the polling password.
•
If you input a wrong number press the "No/Clear" key to clear this entry and input the ID
again.
Note: If you do not have the password of the remote fax unit, you must to contact
the remote fax operator for this information.

Press the "Yes" key.
•
Then the message asks for the next polling RX destination.
•
Repeat the procedure step 4 to 5, until all the polling RX destinations have been
specified.

Press the "Start" key to finish the input operation.

Then the message asks if you want to check these destinations.
•
If you want to check the destinations you entered, press the "Yes" key.
•
Press "Yes" key to accept this entry, then the display shows the next destination.
•
If you want to delete this destination, press the "No/Clear" key.
•
Continue it until all entries have been checked.

Press the "Start" key to perform the Polling RX function.
