Hookup and Operation
Description of Machine
The 824/1024/1224 Box Scraper utilizes 1 or 2 hydraulic
valves on the tractor, allowing it to function in four
different directions.
The Box Scraper has the ability to:
• Raise to a clearance from bit to ground of 19 inches
while lowering to a negative cut.
• Tilt from side to side approximately 5 degrees to
accomplish slope cuts and ditching. All of these
functions can be done on the go, or while the Box
Scraper is stopped.
Tie Strap Designations
Color coded tie straps and markers are attached at the
tip end of the hoses to identify the hydraulic lines to the
Box Scraper.
• Black tie is used on the hoses that raise and lower of
the blade.
• Yellow tie is used on hoses that tilt of the blade.
• Blue tie is used on hoses for an auxiliary function.
NOTE
The decal is located on the tongue of the machine ( See
Figure 4-1 )
